Chris & Kalina

Kalina Shtarkelova

master stylist

Hi, my name is Kalina and my husband, Chris, and I are the proud owners of Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa. As well as being the owner I am also a lead stylist at the salon.

I was born in Bulgaria, and my family moved to Florida in 2001. In 2004, I attended cosmetology school, and then went on to receive advanced training with world champion stylist, Michael Della Penna. In 2009 I became employed at Jacqueline’s as a stylist, and in 2017 Chris and I were given the opportunity to buy the salon.
What I love about the salon industry is that there is always something new to learn, it is always evolving and improving. At Jacqueline’s, we pride ourselves on honing our skills in our continuing education, and in this, way keeping up with the latest techniques in the industry.
We feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to carry on the longevity and excellent reputation of Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa.

Ramo Saucedo

designer stylist

Hi, my name is Ramo and I am a Designer Stylist at Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa. I have been in the industry for 20+ years and have been a stylist at Jacqueline’s since 2014. I was born in Saginaw, MI, aka “Saganasty” as the natives call it. My sister moved to St. Petersburg and I got a taste for the beach and the warm weather and have not looked back since.

My creative talents include all aspects of hair styling. My favorite saying is, I like to think I give people what they want before they know they want it. I love to joke and make my clients laugh. Most of all I pride myself on sending you out of my chair feeling happy, beautiful, and confident.

When I am out of the salon you can find me making sure my elderly father is well taken care of. Before I became a full-time hairstylist, I spent some time working in the travel business. I love to travel, and I have been to ten different countries so far. I have many more places to visit on my bucket list.

My goal is to make this world a more beautiful and happier place one client at a time. And yes, I am told I make a mean tamale.

Madison Littke

senior stylist

Hi, my name is Madison and I have recently joined Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa as an apprentice hairstylist. I grew up in St. Petersburg and I have had a passion for hair and art since I was 13. This passion led me to the Aveda Institute to pursue a career in hairstyling. I chose the Aveda Institute because I am dedicated to natural and earth-friendly products.

I am looking forward to my career at Jacqueline’s as a hairstylist as it will enable me to explore my creative side, giving me the creative freedom to experiment with new designs, techniques, and styles. I have already learned so much from this amazing team of stylist. Our salon carries the Kevin Murphy product line which is committed to the environment and offers fabulous products. I have been using their Leave in Repair, and I do not know what I would do without it!

Rolando Bermudez

senior stylist

Hi, I’m Rolando and I am a barber at Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa. I was born and raised in Cuba, where I owned and operated a barbershop for over five years. Two years ago, I relocated to the United States. I am proud to say that in 2019 I won the Florida Skill USA in Barbering.  Barbering allows me a platform to showcase my artistic side on an array of people who lead various lifestyles.

Every client that sits in my chair will feel confident that they will leave with a haircut that suits them and makes them feel great. I am here to help men to look and feel their best!

I specialize in precision hair cutting as well as dimensional coloring that compliments your total look. I regularly attend the continuing education classes at Jacqueline’s to learn the newest trends and about the latest hair products. Recently, Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa has welcomed the Kevin Murphy products into the salon.  I love their Smooth Again Serum which helps me send you out the door with a beautiful polished and sculpted style.

I want each of my clients to feel their best inside and out. The personal connections I make with my clients fills a special place in my heart. This is why I love what I do.

Dina Meringo

Hi, my name is Dina and I am a stylist at Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa with over three years of experience. I was born and raised in St. Pete Beach. I’m thrilled to be following my childhood dream of becoming a hairstylist.

I enjoy working with color and being creative with multi-color highlighting to create styles that turn heads. I also specialize in short, medium, and long haircuts. My favorite products are Hydrate Me Shampoo & Conditioner, Smooth Again Serum, and Young Again Oil.

When out of the salon you can find me at the beach playing with my dogs. I enjoy finding new restaurants and love theme parks.  Lately though, I’m excited to say that my fiancé Max and I have been busy planning our wedding in October 2020.

Making you beautiful is my passion and I would love to see you in my chair.

Susana Hindes

nail tech & esthetician

Hi, my name is Susana and I have been an Esthetician and Nail Specialist at Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa since 2003. I was born in Ecuador and moved to St. Petersburg in 2000. I became licensed in the state of Florida as a Full Specialist in 2002.

I am so lucky that I found a career that I love so much. My objective as an esthetician is to educate my clients about the importance of a regular skincare regime at home and to have a monthly facial as a great supplement to that regime. I am excited to begin introducing Jacqueline’s new, extraordinary skincare line, Eminence Organic, to my clients. Along with helping you to have beautiful skin, I am also available to do your makeup for special occasions. As a nail specialist, I provide a variety of manicure and pedicure services. To sum it up, I like to say I treat my clients from head to toe.
I pride myself on the relationships with clients and co-workers that I have built over the last 18 years. They are like family to me and fill a special place in my heart. I want you to leave the spa feeling beautiful and ready to take on the world!

Anna Pizzarelli

massage therapist

Hi, my name is Anna, and I have been a licensed massage therapist at Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa for over 20 years. I was born in Poland where I received a master’s degree in physical education from the Sport’s Academy located in the beautiful city of Gdańsk on the Baltic Sea. As a student and athlete, I was introduced to Kinesiology and Physical Therapy but fell in love with massage therapy. I believe in this oldest form of medical care and encourage everyone to experience the healing properties of this magic therapy.

After each massage session, I do my best to educate you about the importance of stretching, hydration and flexibility. I recommend receiving aromatherapy massage at least once a month for general health. My favorite product is Balance by Serene Living which includes notes of clary sage and citrus to help keep you calm and in control.

I believe everyone deserves a massage, so please be good to yourself and book one today. The healing power of touch in our 6 feet apart society is more important than ever.

I am so looking forward to meeting you!!!

Keyla Billeter

Hi, my name is Keyla and I am a Nail Specialist and Makeup Artist at Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa. I am a St. Petersburg native. I became licensed in the state of Florida as a Nail Specialist in 2000.
With many years of experience as a makeup artist and nail specialist, I could not be happier to share that I adore my job. It is such a creative process that allows me to let my imagination run wild. I love helping my clients be the most confident and beautiful version of themselves. Being able to make someone feel gorgeous, whether it is for their wedding day, an event, or a photo shoot, makes me feel complete. I absolutely love my client’s reaction when she looks in the mirror and smiles after I am done. There is nothing that feels as good as making a woman feel good about herself.
My years of experience and artistic techniques have developed into the ability to create many different makeup & nail looks. I love connecting with my clients, enhancing their beauty and bringing their vision to life.

Eugene Mischenko

massage therapist

Hi, my name is Eugene, and I have been a massage therapist at Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa since 2003. I was born in Moscow, Russia, and moved to St. Petersburg in 2000. Since there is a St. Petersburg in Russia, I was hoping that St. Petersburg, Florida would be an ideal place for me. And I was right, it has been perfect for me and my family.

In Russia, I was a licensed osteopathic massage therapist. In 2001 I became a licensed massage therapist in the state of Florida. I work from the perspective of using the principles and aims that both massage and osteopathy share.
I have worked in this field for many years. There is no better feeling in the world than seeing the look of relief on someone’s face after they get off my table.
When I am out of the salon, you can find me spending time with my family. I am an avid runner, and swimmer. I love to swim in the Gulf all year long.
I am passionate about helping my clients find rejuvenation, relief from pain, and working to improve their health.

Ingrid Potoczny

reiki therapist

Hi, my name is Ingrid, and I was born and raised in Guayaquil-Ecuador (South America). My native language is Spanish, and English is my second language. I am the mother of a wonderful six-year-old boy that I call “My Prince Charming.” He is my daily inspiration from the beginning to the end of the day.
I have worn many hats in my life which include working in radio, television, modeling, retail, customer relations, event planning and many more, but I have always ended up sitting down in my spiritual chair.  I am the second of three siblings and always admired my older brother’s ability to connect to people on a deeper/spiritual level.  His journey started at ten years old, mine started secretly at 18 while watching him use his hands and his energy to find answers for others.
I did not know what Reiki was or at least not in the scientific context of its nature. Many years had passed, many paths had been walked, many people had been touched by my energy and after realizing that I could be a bridge to help others cross difficult paths and help them align their spiritual and psychical body, my decision was made.  I left the corporate world and got my certification as an Advance Reiki Practitioner and I am currently working on my Master.
My mantra has always been: Love what you do, and you will accomplish great things. I would love to help you discover the healing benefits and guidance; Reiki will bring to your life.

Jordan Sexauer Custer

Hi, my name is Jordan. I began working at the front desk at Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa in 2010 while I was attending the Aveda Institute pursuing my cosmetology license. I graduated as a master stylist in 2011. Upon graduation, I switched from the front desk to become an apprentice at the salon and then became a hairstylist.
While I loved being a hairstylist, I realized that my true ambition was salon management.
After leaving for Jacksonville for two years and returning to St. Petersburg, I reconnected with Jacqueline’s and was offered a position in management.
When I am out of the salon, you can find me spending time with my husband and 5 year old son. He was named appropriately, because Rob and I are always on the run chasing, Chase. I love cooking, reading, photography, road trips, and family dinners!
I am passionate about what I do, and I am loving having the opportunity to help grow Jacqueline’s Salon and Day Spa into a major presence in our location.
